Visitors Galore!
Hello to everyone Down Under.
Well, we have had a plethora of people visiting us in the last two months. It really is amazing how popular you become when you move to London. Since Lou and John left we've had Joey, Rachel ( Leisa's sister), Michelle and Nick (friends from the US), Maria (Leisa's friend), and Stephen McKie.
We had some funny nights with Joey. One night, after seeing the musical, Guys and Dolls, Joey and I started reminiscing about the time we all went to see the Phantom as kids. Joey was quite bitter about the fact that he had to stay in the Motel because "he was too young to appreciate the Phantom", while the rest of us enjoyed a jolly good night at the opera. And of course, there was the singing of the Phantom songs to the CD in the car all the way back from Melbourne - those were the days. A whole lot better than the best hits of Rolf Harris, though. Or the Pan Pipe Flutes collection.
Enough of these family orientated anecdotes. The reason why Michelle and Nick were with us for a week is because friends of ours that we met in Japan, Rob and Asuka were getting married!
